Tyce Marquez is driven by a passion for solving healthcare challenges through creative thinking, collaboration, and technology. Throughout his academic and research experiences, he has embraced opportunities to explore innovative approaches that improve patient outcomes while expanding access to high-quality care. His work has reinforced the importance of interdisciplinary teams, where clinicians, engineers, scientists, and entrepreneurs each contribute unique perspectives to solving complex problems. Motivated by both scientific curiosity and a desire to create lasting impact, Tyce is eager to better understand the processes that transform early-stage ideas into real-world healthcare solutions. As a participant in the Iowa Innovation Leadership Fellowship, he hopes to strengthen his skills in entrepreneurship, product development, and leadership while building relationships across the innovation ecosystem.
