Mr. Garrett has over 25 years of financial experience in the medical technology and biotech fields. He has participated in private and public rounds of financing in his various roles raising an estimated $750M in capital and debt. Now retired, he most recently served as CFO at Imperative Care, a Campbell California company that is focused on stroke aspiration and peripheral vascular disease such as pulmonary embolism. Previously, he served as CFO at iRhythm Technologies, a publicly traded NASDAQ company that has redefined the way ambulatory cardiac arrhythmias are clinically diagnosed. Matt took the company public in October of 2016. Prior to iRhythm, Mr. Garrett served as CFO of Navigenics, a company focused on personalized genetic testing to determine if individuals were at risk for certain health conditions. Matt has also served in various financial and business development roles at Corventis, Cogentus, Affymetrix and Guidant Corporation.

 

Matt received his M.B.A in Finance from the Kelley School of Business in Bloomington, Indiana and his B.A. degree in Finance and minor in sociology from the University of Iowa in Iowa City.
