About Maleeha: Maleeha Naseem is a clinician scientist deeply committed to addressing the problems and needs of patients and the public. Originally from Pakistan, her journey as a clinician innovator began during her residency training in Emergency Medicine. During this time, as part of a collaborative team in a hackathon, she contributed to the development of a resuscitation device tailored for pediatric patients in low-resource settings. This idea eventually led to the development of a patent after a decade, marking one of the significant milestones in her career and further motivating her enthusiasm for innovation.
Currently, Maleeha is focused on building her research skills, combining her clinical background with a passion for innovation in emergency and trauma care. Her work aims to drive evolution and innovation in trauma and injury prevention and care, both in public health and clinical settings.
Outside her professional pursuits, Maleeha enjoys cooking, spending time with her six-year-old son and family, traveling, and taking early morning walks, all of which bring balance and joy to her life.
