About Kaleb: Born in Denver, Colorado, and raised in Norwalk, Iowa, Kaleb grew up in a household surrounded by entrepreneurship in the financial sector, thanks to his parents' careers. This passion guided him towards a path where he could blend his entrepreneurial spirit with his love for technological innovation.

Kaleb is driven by the excitement of solving complex problems and the satisfaction of transforming a prototype into a fully functional product. His current graduate research focuses on the field of pulmonary microfluidics, where he is developing innovative models to study the pulmonary system and explore new potential drug treatments for respiratory diseases. Kaleb envisions creating next-generation models that enable personalized medicine approaches, tailoring treatments to individual patients' needs and conditions.

Outside the lab, Kaleb enjoys staying active by playing soccer and sand volleyball. He also has a love for travel, particularly to destinations where he can snorkel and scuba dive—he’s currently working on earning his scuba certification.
