Dr. Jon Lensing is the Co-Founder and CEO of OpenLoop, a leading operating system for telehealth nationwide.

A rural Iowa native turned physician turned founder, Jon grew up watching his father — the only local OBGYN — care for patients who often drove 3-4 hours just for an appointment. That experience gave him a front-row seat to the realities of limited healthcare access and convinced him that the future of care wouldn’t be confined to hospital hallways, but delivered directly into people’s homes through telehealth.

After graduating from medical school at the University of Iowa, Jon co-founded OpenLoop in 2020 to bridge that gap. Today, OpenLoop operates in all 50 states and serves as the operating system of digital health for 100+ organizations nationwide. Since its inception, the company has grown 1000%, raised over $100M, and helped patients save over $1B+ in medical costs.

Dr. Lensing was named to Forbes 30 Under 30 in 2024, and OpenLoop was recognized on TIME’s list of Top HealthTech Companies in 2025.
