Harry Bui is motivated by the opportunity to transform scientific discovery into solutions that directly improve patient care. His interest in innovation has grown through research experiences that have shown him how collaboration across disciplines can accelerate the development of new technologies and therapies. By combining rigorous scientific training with a curiosity for entrepreneurship, Harry has sought opportunities to better understand how promising ideas move from the laboratory to clinical practice. He is particularly interested in building partnerships among researchers, clinicians, and industry to address complex healthcare challenges with practical, patient-centered solutions. Through the Iowa Innovation Leadership Fellowship, Harry hopes to expand his knowledge of commercialization, intellectual property, and innovation strategy while developing the leadership skills needed to translate research into meaningful impact. He aspires to build a career that bridges scientific discovery and healthcare innovation, helping bring new technologies to the patients and communities they are designed to serve.
