Biography

About Connor: Connor’s interest in innovation began early, inspired by inventors and scientists who shaped his understanding of technology’s potential to improve lives. That passion grew into hands-on experience through ventures in consulting and repair, and later into launching a scientific consulting company through the Iowa Venture School.

Connor currently focuses on developing microfabricated structures for mucosal clearance and supports researchers working on micro and nanofabrication technologies at the University of Iowa’s MATFab facility. He has also secured a pending patent and continues to explore medical applications of acoustic actuation technologies. With a strong foundation in both science and entrepreneurship, Connor aspires to collaborate with researchers across a variety of disciplines to develop startup ventures focused on affordable and impactful medical technologies.

Outside of his professional interests, Connor is an avid outdoorsman. He enjoys backpacking, kayaking, disc golf, and a variety of hands-on hobbies like woodworking, glassblowing, and electrical work.
