THE IOWA INNOVATION LEADERSHIP FELLOWS PROGRAM

The IOWA INNOVATION LEADERSHIP Fellows program is a 2-day event that introduces University of Iowa graduate students to private sector engagement. Topics covered include intellectual property, starting a company, and venture capital. Selected fellows receive a $1,000 stipend and continued engagement opportunities. Apply for Education Gap Awards

UI Ventures is supporting the advancement of innovative technology developed by Carver College of Medicine faculty and staff through a GAP fund targeting medical devices and health software. CCOM faculty and staff are eligible to apply for GAP funding, and projects require chair support and department-matching funds.


Projects will be evaluated by a selection committee comprised of both internal and external members. UI Ventures will provide up to $50,000 per selected project. An estimated two to four projects will be funded dependent on the selection committee review and project budgets. Visit UI Ventures to learn more.
